June 26th of every year is an important day in Thailand to commemorate the best well-known royal poet in the Rattanakosin era in the reign of King Rama II. That is Phra Sunthornwohan, known as Sunthorn Phu.

Students participated in many fun activities in their Thai language class and cheered on their class representatives to recite a poem in grade-level assemblies.

It was beautiful to see how our students appreciated the Thai language. They also dressed in traditional Thai costumes as part of this cultural celebration!
